THE SEARCH IS ON

The search is on to find the best talent throughout the world of music for the anticipated Certified Gold Album.

The man behind this mission is American born Michael” Beatbopper ” Hudgins. He hopes to create history, like American astronauts commander Neil Armstrong and lunar module pilot Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin, the first to set foot on the moon, July 20th, 1969.

Fast-forward fifty-two years and Hudgins is convinced his album crew will too make history.

“If we look back, we would have noticed we went into Canada last year, found Ayr Swisha and landed him on Miungu Ya Muziki, an international album which has been raising a number of eyebrows around the world.

We also went to Ukraine for celebrity Tina Karol, one of the country’s top 100 most influential women, and not to mention Africa.

We will also be targeting the Caribbean, including Trinidad and Tobago, with a rich history of calypsonians such as: Kitchener, Chalkdust and Calypso Rose- the most gifted being Sparrow. In Jamaica, it would be nice to have the three B’s – Buju Banton, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer who have ruled dancehall for decades; in addition to pioneers Talis and Lahgihkal.”

The criteria for artists desirous of having an enviable spot on the album include international publicity (newspaper features, radio and television interviews) charting and the chance of Billboard status.

“We are seeking songs which touch the lives of others; clean and vibesy songs from all genres of music, including: rap, hip hop, R&B and reggae. These (songs) must not be more than two years old, with the possibility of charting on ITunes and the potential of making Billboard charts.”

President Entertainment, Hype Magazine, Hip Hop Now TV, and Dj Grid will lead the charge for selecting artists. The majority of independent artists are expected to be from: the New York, California and the Hampton Road area of Virginia.

Hudgins explains that the album will have long distance international achievers from a prestigious list including: JadaKiss, Gucci Mane, and Future.

“We are expected to surpass our previous position of topping Billboard reggae charts; our six-month-old Miungu Ya Muziki has earned four #1 spots on Amazon reggae charts and peaked #1 behind Bob Marley “Legend: The Best of Bob Marley”. On Apple the album went number thirty-three on the reggae Ukraine charts.”
